Pay Wilma, Please!

This is a very funny, very clever and in today's economy, all too true story of not only IT professionals, but entreprenuers of all kinds.

The first page is the clever, funny one. The STORY tab used to be true of just doctors and lawyers at parties, but has spread.

It's unfair and too many people take advantage of people like us and Wilma. Stop it, all you free-loaders! We like to forget about work at parties too, you know.

I Warned You: Hillary Won't Go Away Quietly Into the Night.....

I tried to warn you. When I wrote my article "FINALLY, A Reason to Vote for President in November" back in June, I told you there was a reason to vote McCain.

NOT because I particularly liked him, NOT because I particularly disliked Obama. The reason was HILLARY CLINTON....and you all laughed at me.

Back in June, I put forth the theory that there will be at least one opening on the Supreme Court during the next 4 years. More within 8 years, but whomever was elected, Obama or McCain, was going to be a one term President. As the Clinton Campaign used to say, "It's the economy, stupid!"

This is not going to be a short recession. It didn't just start last month either, despite what the mainstream press, Sec. Paulson, Congress, and the White House said: it's been going on for over a year.

It's going to last 8-10 years and MAY even turn into a Depression. Four years from now, the voters are going to take their anger out on whomever had won; in this case Obama. With the Democrat party controlling both Houses of Congress for 6 years at the point, they're in for a rough time too.

No, I said back in June that the reason I would vote McCain was because I knew he wouldn't appoint Hillary to the Supreme Court. Obama might.

And you all laughed! You should have seen my emails...most unprintable.

But since President-Elect Obama was chosen to be our 44th President...and that was just a few weeks ago, I have read this in the left-leaning (but we endorsed McCain because our circulation is dropping like a stone; then proceeded to undermine him and help Obama in every story we wrote) Dallas Morning News:

  • A gushing and hopeful article stating there will be THREE Supreme Court vacancies during his term and wouldn't it WONDERFUL to have Hillary Clinton on the Supreme Court?
The DMN article talked about ALL the wonderful things she could do, starting with doing away with the 2nd Amendment and getting rid of all the guns LAW ABIDING citizens own.

  • And just this week: Will Hillary Clinton be the next Secretary of State???
That's less dangerous than the Supreme Court but Mr. Obama is still an unknown in many respects: does he really have the back-bone to stand up to a Hillary Clinton and make his own foreign policy, or will Hillary and her "big village" view of the world prevail.

It's hard to imagine Hillary Clinton being like Colin Powell: following orders, complaining in private, but following the lead of the President; whether he personally disagreed or not.

No, she's going to be an Activist at anything she is appointed to. She will either set the foreign policy agenda or undermine Obama's to get what she wants.

Now President-Elect Obama is not naive politically. He doesn't like the Clinton's, doesn't trust them, but he is a politician. Did he have his hour-long sit-down with Hillary for show when he later chooses someone like Richardson, or is she a serious contender?

If he doesn't appoint her Secretary of State, will he pressured to appoint her to the Supreme Court when/if a vacancy appears?

He may not want to, but a lot of women still love Hillary (I don't know why either). He does have to run for re-election one more time.....

Will his political instincts overpower his moral, personal, and accurate judgment of her character? Or will he stand firm.

At this point, who knows? There isn't much of substance he HAS stood firm on up until this point. We're just going to have to wait and see who the REAL President Obama is.

So to all of you who called my crazy..and worse in June; now we have to wait and see. With the economy and America in general crumbling around us, thanks to you we have something ELSE serious to worry about: Hillary Clinton.

She is the Junior Senator from New York (another mystery) with no chance of advancing in the Senate for years. She knows that and doesn't like it. She will fight like a rat backed into a corner for either or the above two posts or anything else which will give her more power.

Screw New York and the people that voted for her: this is ALL ABOUT HILLARY to her.

Mr. Obama, I truly hope you are man enough to be able to stand up to her and keep her in the Senate where she doesn't belong in the first place. You KNOW she will cause you nothing but problems. But there is 2012 to consider, isn't there?

I hope you do the right thing for your Administration and America and not the easy politically expedient course. But America laughed at my fears so now we all have to wait on you....and see who the real Barack Obama turns out to be.

Sincerely,

Mr. Unloadingzone

Breaking News: Rep. Ken Paxton, TX District 70, Endorsed by Mr. Unloadingzone!

In an official statement today, Mr. Unloadingzone Publicly & Officially Endorsed Texas State Representative Ken Paxton for re-election in Texas District 70.

Mr. Unloadingzone is not known generally for endorsing political candidates. In the case of Ken Paxton, though, Unloadingzone has made an exception. "If only ALL politicians were cut from the same cloth as Ken Paxton...."

Ken Paxton, the popular three term Texas State Representative, has served in the Texas Legislature since 2002.

Fiscally conservative and a man of unquestioned character, Mr. Unloadingzone feels that in the tough economic times the United States Government has finally admitted have been going on for over a year and Texas Governor Perry's "job growth" figures for the past years revealed to be a majority of minimum wage positions, Texas needs people like Ken Paxton in the Texas State Legislature now more than ever.

The economy nationally and in Texas as well is going to get much worse before it get better. There could be no one better to represent District 70 and Texas during these tough times than Ken Paxton.

Beloved Dog Sickens and finally Dies after her ONE and ONLY Meal of Fromm's Dog Food!

Debbie was fanatical about feeding only the best to her beloved dog Misty. ONE bowl of Fromm's & Misty Dies. Coincidence? Fromm's seems to think so or just really doesn't care.

Made in China for Fromm's, they were forced by the FDA to pull their canned dog food for being dangerous & there's a Class Action Law Suit against them. But because Misty ate the dry, not canned food, Fromm's told Debbie to get lost! And it gets worse.....

It seems when it comes to the safety of children and pets, China doesn't seem too concerned about quality control or the lack there-of. And were was the FDA before the dogs started dying? Don't they spot check products anymore? ESPECIALLY from China?

Kay Bailey Hutchison: Bail-Out for the Banks but NO Unemployment Benefits Extension?

I wrote Sen. Hutchison (hopefully the next Governor of Texas) on the Bail-Out and the Senate refusing to even bring to floor the Unemployment Benefit Extension / Jobless Bill the House passed 368-28!

She wrote back. My preface, her letter, and my comments.

If there's a Lame Duck session of Congress, as hinted at today, the jobless need to act NOW.

And so does the Senate: how DARE they block it from even coming to the floor! Were some Senators just too tired after a hard day at the office to look at one more bill........before going on Vacation!

Joe Biden, You're no Patriot....and worse.

Two Events occurred this week concerning Senators Biden and Obama that just floored me.

They both deserve articles of their own, but there is a tie-in between the two so follow this article through to the end: one is more ideologic but crucial; one is happening real-time as I write this and will destroy tens of thousands, if not millions, of Americans being crushed by this economy NOW......thanks to Senators Obama and Biden.

Lets start with the ideological first. While watching the recent Vice Presidential Debate, Joe Biden made a statement reflecting the Obama/Biden view of America that Absolutely Stunned me!

Biden proudly said that the Obama plan of raising taxes on those earning $250K a year or more was PATRIOTIC!

Thanks to the recession turning into depression America is in, I don't make anywhere near $250,000 so this position has no personal effect on me.

But the sheer audacity and demonstrated COMPLETE lack of understanding by both Obama and Biden on why this country was founded dumbfounded me. Especially since Biden is old enough to have been taught real American history in grammar and high school.

The United States of America did NOT revolt against Great Britain and declare Independence in 1776 because of religious freedom or freedom of speech. Those were founding principles but not the reason for the REVOLT itself.

The revolt against Great Britain, the final straw being the tea tax, occurred because of three words: "TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION".

Mr. Biden and many wealthy liberals in this country feel guilty and embarrassed by their wealth. Mr Biden is so far removed from his humble beginnings in Scranton that his and Senator Obama's idea of Patriotism is to FORCEABLY take money from the "rich" through taxation. Is that what America is founded on?

NO! It's founded on self sufficiency, CHARITY, and helping your neighbor when they are in need. You as an individual, not as a "want-to-be Administration" that MANDATES it.

That's not Patriotism, Mr Biden, that's socialism, class-warfare, vote pandering, with some fascism thrown in for good measure.

Do you want an example of Super-Rich REAL AMERICAN PATRIOTS, gentlemen? You have only to look at Bill and Melinda Gates.

Bill Gates was once the richest man in the world and is still worth tens of billions of dollars. But UNLIKE YOU, he opened his PERSONAL checkbook and together with his wife, started a foundation and poured BILLIONS of dollars of their own money into it.

And they go further: they MANAGE the foundation to make sure the billions they put into it do the most good for the most people. That it's not wasted on unnecessary bureaucracy and special interests like out tax money is. They put their money and the efforts where YOUR mouth is.

The Gates' are living examples in the 21st century of wealthy; especially those that earned it themselves, PRACTICING what America was FOUNDED on. They are not alone. But considering Mr. Gates enormous wealth and what he is doing, they are the most visible example.

Senator Biden, despite your desperate attempts to connect with the not-wealthy American public during the debate by constantly bringing up your childhood middle-class roots; I do applaud you for at least coming flat out and saying that you are wealthy today. Not HOW wealthy....you did downplay that a bit, but you admitted that you were well off. That took courage for a politician.

Almost all your colleagues in the Senate are millionaires, a good portion many times over. But it's not something to be "talked" about. Again, I applaud you for at least not hiding completely behind the Home Depot and Scranton.

But I'll tell you and Mr. Obama what I have told other rich individuals who feel guilty over it. Be like the Gates' and many others like them: open up your own checkbook.

There is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING stopping you or Mr. Obama from writing a 6 figure check out of you PERSONAL accounts payable to the United States Treasury Department. NOTHING.

If you TRULY believe that it is patriotic to give back more money than required to the United States Government if you have the means, then live up to your convictions and DO SO. I would admire you greatly for living up to your convictions.

But requiring OTHER people in your financial circumstances to live by YOUR version of Patriotism, NOT the Founding Fathers of this Country, shows a LACK of conviction, a LACK of personal responsibility and morals, and quite frankly, a lack of understand about what America was meant to be.

What you and Senator Obama are saying is that if EVERYONE who makes more than $250K/year doesn't give some more back in taxes, then YOU''RE not going to either! Or worse, why should the two of you stand up for your principals for principals sake alone.

After all, US GOVERNMENT statistics show that over 90% (I believe it is 95%) of all ALL income taxes paid in this county are paid by those making over $250K a year already.

It's not lack of Government TAX MONEY (don't even think of using the word "revenue"): the US and STATE Governments are NOT (supposed to be) FOR-PROFIT institutions. Not in AMERICA.

The problem is the US Government is TOO big, has gone FAR beyonds it's original mandates and intents and is SO POORLY MANAGED that it makes ENRON look good.

And the bigger the government gets, the more money it needs, to provide services and take power where they were NEVER intended to.....and then they WASTE the money, LOSE the money, CAN'T ACCOUNT for the money, OVERSPEND the money, EARMARK the money and have to issue TOO MUCH DEBT to cover their blunders.

The FIRST time China doesn't show up at one of our bond auctions, the American Economy will collapse within days. Thanks to your and Senator Obama's idea of America.

You are pandering for votes, not suggesting a solution. And in that regard, BOTH you AND Senator Obama are hypocrites as well.

But Here's the REAL Frosting on the Cake:

You both claim to care about "working class Americans". Well, 6.1% of us are UNEMPLOYED right now! $700BB to Wall Street. Necessary, yes. Why? Because the GOVERNMENT interfered where it shouldn't have, in this case, starting with the Clinton administration, and now we have no choice. But here's some news for you, in case you missed it.

While you were hanging out at Home Depot in Scranton, the US House of Representatives offered and voted on a Bill to extend Unemployment Benefits for REAL Americans being destroyed by this economy. The Bill passed 368 to 28!

REAL, STRUGGLING, VOTING Americans NEED those Unemployment Benefits because the Job Market is TERRIBLE, companies are closing and having mass-layoffs and people can't find REAL jobs.

But the bills chances of passing this year, to quote the Associated Press, "are slim." Why?

Because the US SENATE which both YOU and MR. OBAMA are sitting members of REFUSE TO BRING IT TO THE FLOOR FOR A VOTE! Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't DEMOCRATS control the Senate TOO?

McCain suspended his campaign because the bail-out was necessary and, while a candidate, he is a tenured Senator...just like you. Mr. Obama, not so tenured.

WHY aren't you and Mr. Obama IN WASHINGTON fighting to get this bill onto the Senate floor and passed so President Bush can sign it??????

The BOTH of you are Democrats AND your party's candidates for President and Vice President. You BOTH carry a lot of weight right now. You should be fighting tooth and nail, for the sake of Scranton if nothing else, to GET THIS BILL THROUGH THE SENATE!

WHY aren't you? You claim to care about Americans in need. Instead all you talk about is GREED.

I really hope Mr. Obama is asked to explain this pitiful lack of inaction on both his and your part during the next Presidential Debate.

We have the highest unemployment in years, and if you listened to those people at Home Depot instead of just kissing their babies, you'd know that regardless of what the Fed says, we are not only IN A RECESSION, but we are moving quickly towards a DEPRESSION.

Forget election rhetoric: as CURRENT US SENATORS, where are you on this? Why aren't you doing what your State's elected you to do? How do BOTH of you respond to the unemployed in your home states who elected you their Senators?

Taxation without Representation. Real Americans without Representation from either of you. You and Senator Obama should be ashamed of yourselves.

A Very Disappointed,

Mr. Unloadingzone

Wall Street Bail-Out Email Leaked!

I received this from a good "friend" of mine. It was not supposed to be released yet! Don't check your spam folders....yet.

This is what happens when the best and brightest shun pubic office for the private sector because the election process has become such an invasive circus, leaving only the Super-Egotists with mediocre ability run our country.

Make Warren Buffet Secretary of the Treasury! Except he wouldn't waste his time going through the invasive and public scrutiny and media show of a confirmation hearing.

And that's why China holds over $1.2 Trillion in Treasury issued debt, Japan holds almost half a trillion dollars in Treasury issued debt, and the American economy is tanking. We are only staying afloat because if the United States goes Chapter 7 and defaults on it's debt, the entire world economy will crumble.

Meanwhile, with the dollar so weak against the Euro, real estate, corporations, and former American Institutions like Lehman Brothers are being bought up by Europe at bargain prices.

The American Citizen and Taxpayer? Losing their homes, their jobs, their lives.

To paraphrase Ronald Reagan, I see a shining city on a hill....but it's not in America anymore.

Sarah Palin: A brilliant move by John McCain?

Governor Sarah Palin would not have been my first choice: only because I never heard of her before now. But that doesn't make her a bad choice at all.

In fact, if McCain wins, it will go down in history as one of the shrewdest and brilliant political plays of all time.

And if the mainstream media can be used as a barometer, she was a great choice.

Almost everything printed or broadcast from the mainstream media goes out of it's way to paint anything and everything about her in a negative light. If she ran in front of a car to push a child to safety and the car hit her, the headline would be "Palin Damages Car".

With Joe Biden, on the other hand, the press seems to be suffering from a collective memory loss spanning his entire political career. Biden has made so many politic gaffs, had so many errors in judgement, that it would take a week to Google them all.
But the press only has nice things to say; or those with any shred of ethics left simply don't mention him much.

So McCain's choice of the Governor of Alaska may be sheer genius. Say what you will about McCain, you Obama and left wingers, but he's politically savvy. He didn't throw a dart blindly at a map: he knows her lack of elected experience is going to dampen that line of attack on Obama. Other than his flip-flopping and "it depends how you define 'is'" statements of late, lack of experience was and is one of Obama's weak points. I know that, you know that, and you can bet John McCain sure does.

Yet he gives up valuable ammunition and chooses Sarah Palin as a running mate. There's a real good reason. Pieces of it are out there, but McCain deliberately chose her for a reason.

I'm actually starting to get interested in this election again....and maybe that was McCain's whole point: to wake up the voters already bored by this seemingly never-ending campaign. I don't know....not yet. But Marc Chamot, one of my favorite commentators, thinks he does.

Marc explains we he opts for "Brilliant" in his article. Click "read more" ..

LinkedIn.com Swedish Snus Enthusiast Group Announcement

I'm posting this because LinkedIn.com has been invaluable to me professionally.

As to the Swedish Snus Enthusiast Group, they give me the opportunity to introduce Henry Waxman's recent Bill H.R. 1108.

It was overwhelming supported by both parties in the House but the fall break stopped it from making it the Senate. The bill will put tobacco under FDA control among other things. The Bill will be reintroduced next year, pass both houses of Congress, and either McCain or Obama will sign it.

It has huge ramifications not only for the 46 million American cigarette smokers, but for users of "reduced-harm-tobacco" products like Swedish or Swedish-Style snus, and other forms of tobacco.

This will be a very large issue and point of contention during 2009 and I'm just laying the groundwork. Remember you heard it here first!

For those of you unaware, LinkedIn.com is the ultimate and largest networking site for professionals in practically every field. Membership is tiered, but starting with FREE. LinkedIn is not for everyone: it's a business networking site.

It's invaluable to anyone in any industry wanting to increase their business network, reconnect with old colleagues or classmates, post jobs, find employment and/or contacts at a particular company or organization, ask questions of industry experts....plus a lot more.

The Swedish Snus Enthusiast Group on LinkedIn is a member-created group open to all LinkedIn members, not just those in the tobacco industry. It too is Free to join.

The article linked to this explains LinkedIn.com and the Swedish Snus Enthusiasts Group in more detail. You can also visit www.LinkedIn.com to look around or join.As I said, it's no MySpace...it's for business and professional networking. So it may not be for you. But if you are an appropriate candidate to join, I can say from personal experience that is the a phenomenal and incredibly useful networking site to be a member of.

FINALLY: A Reason to Vote for President in November!

McCain or Obama: two second rate want-to-be's for President whose biggest challenge will be giving the American public a reason to get out of bed and go vote in November.....until now.

I will be voting for John McCain for President, regardless of whatever stupid things he says or does between now and the election for one reason and one reason only: The Supreme Court.

It is likely at least one Supreme Court Justice will be stepping down during the next administration. As the 5-4 decision by the Supreme Court on the challenge to Washington DC's anti-Second Amendment laws shows, the Court is fairly balanced with a slight lean to the right.

Since the Justices most likely to resign are liberal, a President Obama would nominate liberals to replace them so at worst case, we maintain the status quo....unless he nominates HILLARY!! But even if he did, I'm not so sure she would be confirmed. Still, not worth the risk.

If McCain is elected, it's a whole different ballgame.

While I doubt a President McCain would actually stand up, nominate, and fight for hard-right conservatives, he certainly would nominate conservatives of some ilk. And that will be very significant going forward.

Perhaps we can get everything the incredibly liberal 5th Circuit overturns reinstated. Maybe we could get the 1977 Supreme Court Decision rendering unconstitutional a (in this case) Texas law that illegal alien children would not be educated at public expense overturned!

That would certainly go a long way in lowering Texans ridiculously high school taxes. Dare I hope for more? That Oklahoma and others laws highly penalizing employers for hiring illegal aliens will be swiftly heard and upheld?

Or, I'm almost afraid to put this in writing, but could a law be passed banning "birthright" citizenship and upheld by the Court? No more border babies. A child born in the United States would be a citizen of the country that both their parents are; not automatic US citizens as is the case today.

FINALLY, I have a reason to support one of the candidates! John McCain for President! John McCain for President!

Poll: Obama opens up 15 point lead over John McCain

The latest Newsweek Nationwide Poll shows Democrat Barack Obama with a 15-point lead over Republican John McCain. Of course, that depends on how you read the poll. It's obvious the mainstream press is moving on from picking the Primary winners to picking the next President....and they want Obama. And so, as America continues it's slide into oblivion, we'll have our first black President. Does anyone really care about that stuff anymore? Now if he picks HILLARY as VP, as I predicted in my last article, THEN the world is over. But Obama over McCain: they're BOTH on the wrong track and will be BOTH separately but equally BAD for America. The only thing that matters anymore is keeping Hillary OUT of the VP Chair and OFF the Supreme Court. You could dump Herbert Hoover's remains on the chair in the Oval Office and he'll do no better or worse a job than either Obama or McCain.I wish I were in America again.

Obama Signs his Soul over to Hillary in Secret Meeting!!!!

Entering the Washington home of Sen. Dianne Feinstein, Barack Obama, bursting with arrogant confidence just moments before, suddenly felt uneasy.

Sen. Feinstein welcomed him and his aids at the door and was talking pleasantries as they walked to the hallway toward her sitting room, the only thing he remember hearing was that Hillary was already here and waiting for him. She walked him into the sitting room, chatted for a second with Hillary, and then excused herself.

The room was eerily quiet. As Hillary dismissed both their representatives from the room, a icy chill ran down Barack's body. With the click of the door closing, a cold sweat began to break out on his forehead.

"Well Barack, how badly do you want to be President?" Hillary asked in an almost threatening way.

Obama turned and gasped in horror! Sitting at the table was Hillary Clinton; but she looked different. Her eyes were neon red, her skin a burnt orange, and a pair of wings and a tail had burst through her pants suit!

"Satan!" Obama blurted out!

"Well Barack, how badly do you want to be President?" Hillary repeated, her tail swinging back and forth like a metronome.

Obama paused, his eyes narrowing, and smiled. Hillary smiled back with a mouthful of fangs. "A lot." he replied as he sat down opposite her.

She reeked of death, decay, and flatulence; he barely noticed. After all, he was a politician too. The odor reminded him of.....the Senate. He began to relax as the horrid stench comforted him with it's familiarity. He reached down into his right sock and pulled out a pack of cigarettes.

"I'm not very pleased that you beat me!" Hillary hissed, her wings unfurling slightly, "But it is what it is." She sat back. "You need my support to beat McCain, you know that don't you?"

Obama took in a deep lungful of smoke and laughed. "Too much of your support will drive the lilly white housewives right into McCain's camp and you pissed off Charlie Rangel already. I need your heartfelt concession; your delegates, and for you to back off. I'll take care of the old fart myself." he replied confidently.

"Really", Hillary smirked, "and how are you going to deal with the October release of the Fox News video on YouTube video showing your racist wife Michelle on-stage with Louis Farrakhan lambasting Caucasian America with the term "whitey?"

Obama froze. "That video doesn't exist anymore!" Hillary just smiled. "I'm telling you that video does not exist!" he replied angrily.

Hillary smiled again, and reached into a $3000 purse a supporter had slipped to her and removed a DVD. Wings flapping, she floated over to Feinstein's entertainment center, slipped the DVD into the player and turned on the flat screen TV. "Surprise!"

Obama stared and listened in amazement for what seemed to be an eternity. When Hillary stopped the DVD and removed it, he visibly flinched. "Where the hell did you get that from?" he asked in almost a whisper.

Hillary laughed. "Where the HELL indeed!" Moving quickly, she towered over the slumping Obama. "You have NO IDEA of the POWER at my disposal" she lashed out. "If it wasn't for my idiot husband and his stupid remarks during the campaign, we wouldn't even be having this conversation!"

She floated back over to her chair. Suddenly, she was all business. " You said you wanted to be President 'a lot'. Well, without something in it for me, that's not going to happen."

Her eyes narrowed. "I have an AGENDA. I've had it for 40 years! I've planned carefully. If it wasn't for me, Bill would have been a successful Real Estate Agent in Arkansas, screwing every waitress and secretary in the State when he wasn't playing golf or selling real estate."

"I PUSHED him into being Governor. I PUSHED him into the Presidency. With all his screwing around and baggage, did you ever wonder HOW he was not only elected President, but RE-ELECTED? Who do you think stopped the Senate from impeaching him? ME! I Will Not Be Stopped by ANYONE.......including YOU!

Obama pushed back in his chair, wishing this was just some horrible nightmare but it wasn't. He HAD to be President....the FIRST Black President. That was HIS destiny....he knew it. But know he also knew he would have to sell his soul to get there.

He pulled another cigarette out of his sock. Lighting it, he said calmly "What do you propose?"

Hillary smiled evilly, "We will leave this meeting laughing and joking.. We will both say it was a good first meeting to heal the wounds of a grueling primary. You will say that your three person Vice President selection team would keep on with their work. You felt no rush to make a decision; to the contrary, you want to take your time and make the BEST POSSIBLE decision."

"You'll keep them guessing right up until the Convention. I, on the other hand, will indicate my willingness to do whatever it takes to put you in the White House." she laughed again, "and when they ask me if I would campaign to be the Vice President, I would say 'No, not at all! If Senator Obama feels I can serve him and the country best in that capacity, I would acquiesce to his wishes. But I'm just planning on campaigning as hard as I can for him to be our next President." By now, she was laughing so hard her face had become as red as her eyes.

"The press will be crying 'Dream Team, Dream Team'.....I'll make sure of that. And then at the convention, you'll turn on that Obama charm you're famous for, you'll explain how important it was that you chose the right running mate. How you interviewed dozens of candidates; and you will have. A waste of your time, but necessary."

"But in the end, shining as bright as the sun on Jerusalem, there was only ONE CLEAR CHOICE. Then you'll give that boyish JFK grin and say "'Hillary, will you be my Vice President?'"

Hillary flew out of her chair, barely missing the ceiling. "Can you IMAGINE the response??? The place will go WILD! Everyone will start chanting 'Dream Team, Dream Team'! Delegates will reach under their seats and be pulling out Dream Team t-shirts and Obama/Clinton 2008 buttons!.....I'll arrange for that." She floated back to the floor. "And you will be the next President of the United States. Interested?"

Obama crushed out his cigarette on the table. "And what's in it for you? I'm not going to be a cardboard cut-out with you calling all the shots. VP's go to funerals and visit our allies. I will be making the policy. I have an agenda too!"

Hillary settle back in her chair, reached into her purse, and pulled out a parchment and a small knife. "Funerals. Yes, I will be certainly going to at least one."

"Here's the deal: I get you elected. I'll give you your time in the sun with your "agenda". I'll be doing some things behind the scenes but I will also do what is necessary to ensure your agenda gets through Congress. You will be the most popular President since JFK. You'll be a hero and an inspiration to both blacks and whites. And you will be re-elected in a landslide, with me as your running mate, of course."

Obama smiled for a few minutes, his eyes glazed over imagining the future. Then he blinked hard and looked Hillary dead in her red neon eyes. "You didn't answer my question. What's in it for YOU?"

She was quiet for a moment; then replied "You will have 7 years as President....a President that will be remember as one, if not, the greatest President who ever served."

Obama frowned "Seven years? But two terms would run 8 years." Hillary smiled again. "You said it yourself, Vice Presidents go to funerals."

And then he understood.

"In your 7th year in office, you will be assassinated....by whom or why you don't need to know, save that it's part of MY agenda. The entire country, every race, creed, color, and political party will mourn your passing like no one has been mourned before.

You won't just be the greatest President who ever lived; your death, which will be heroic, will make you a martyr for all of time. An entire generation of boys will be named Barack. Statues will be erected. Buildings by the thousands named after you. A thousand years from now, people will still know and revere you. Your diary....start one tomorrow....will be more popular than the Bible. Your biography will be required reading in school. You will be legendary!"

More silence. Then Obama said "and you will be President for nine years.....knowing you, maybe longer."

Hillary nodded and smiled, adding "and look at all the other ex-Presidents: do you want to play golf and whore around for 20 or 30 years after you leave office; giving speeches at rubber chicken dinners to support yourself? And put up with that embarrassment of a wife you have? Or do you want to be LEGENDARY!"

"You would eclipse Dr. King! You would eclipse EVERYONE! Isn't that worth it? Seven years and then immortality?"

Obama pulled another cigarette from his sock and paced the room, smoking and thinking. He turned to Hillary. "and for those 7 years, I would TRULY be the President? I would be making the decisions? It would be MY White House?"

Hillary stood up. "Absolutely. Oh, I have I few little things I'd like to see put in place before your 7 years are up, but you will be the President and it will be your White House and your legacy I will have to live up to." She covered her mouth with a pretend cough to hide her grin. "You have my word of honor."

Walking to the table, she picked up the parchment and held it up. "It's all in writing. All you have to do is sign it....Mr. President."

He glanced at the knife, then back at Hillary. "Yes, Barack, in blood."

From Reuters, June 6, 2008: Clinton and Obama held a private one-on-one meeting on Thursday night at the Washington home of Sen. Dianne Feinstein. The California Democrat said the two candidates chatted privately for about an hour and were laughing as they left.

And so it came to pass on that warm June evening, the beginning of the end of the world had begun..........................

Hillary apparently facing reality so it's Obama versus McCain? Great.

Compared to my other Blog, The Unloading Zone, my posts here have been pretty sparse. If someone told me this would happen when I started Anyone But Hillary in 2008!, I would

Politics at the National level primarily and at the State level to a lesser degree have fascinated me since I was a teenager (a LONG time ago). I think I've mentioned in previous posts that at 13, I was at the 1972 Republican Convention handing out 'Re-Elect Nixon" buttons and materials.

I lived through the Carter administration where he finally went on TV and blamed the American Public for the "malaise" the Country was experiencing.

I rode the highs of the Reagan years, saw my dream come true in the 90's when the Republicans took both houses of Congress for the first time in decades....and had my dreams crushed with as the minority Democrat party systematically destroyed the Gingrich Revolution....because the Republicans had been in the minority so long they forgot how to Lead Congress.

And then we elected George W. Bush to eight years. I voted for him both times only because I thought the Democrat alternative was worse

The Republican scandals in Congress continued. Now were a half trillion dollars in debt and growing, the dollar is becoming worthless, we're involved in a war we had no justification to start in the first place.

Then came the 2008 Primaries which started too early in 2007. And with it, the biggest crop of losers I can remember seeing, from BOTH sides of the isle, running for President....with a tightly controlled mainstream media universally and simultaneously deciding who to cover, who to marginalize, we apparently have our two contenders right in the nick of time: Barack Obama and John McCain. Wow.

In this ENTIRE Country, the Democrats and Republicans couldn't do any better then that?

I did start getting excited by one candidate. At least Ron Paul had a few good ideas and the Congress could have stopped anything too extreme he proposed. But ending Pax America, closing all our overseas bases and bringing all the troops home: THAT was a good idea.

The Cold War is over and the proxy wars we and the Soviet Union fought through other countries prevented a direct and likely nuclear confrontation between the two of us. But that time is past. The Soviet Union is dead.

Let the rest of the world fight it's own battles: WE ARE BROKE and it's no longer in our interests to have a world-wide military presence. In fact, it's hurting us more than helping us.

That would save America 1 trillion dollars a year: enough to pay off the deficit AND eliminate the Federal Income Tax......forever. And as Commander in Chief and a strict Constitutionalist, I think Dr. Paul could have pulled that off and the Supreme Court would have backed him up.

But despite the greatest grass roots political movement in US History, the mainstream press, working in concert, were able to get him labeled a wacko and marginalize him.

They were helped by his own Presidential Campaign Team which never took advantage of the grass roots support and Ron Paul himself, who in the end, seemed more interested in getting re-elected to Congress and keeping those ear-marks going to his congressional district.

And when that happened, I lost pretty much all interest in the primaries; thus my lack of enthusiastic posting on this Blog.

For the FIRST time in my life, I actually got involved in LOCAL politics. We had Good vs Evil in the Mayors race. Good won (I worked for his campaign). Of the two Council Member seats up for grabs (each with four contenders each), one candidate stood head and shoulders above the rest and won easily.

The second went to a run-off where the candidate I voted and campaigned for in the first election turned out to me MUCH less appealing after some due diligence. His opponent I'm not terribly excited about, but I voted and supported him for the run-off more because I didn't want his opponent to win than by my enthusiasm for him.

Mrs. Unloadingzone and I early voted: the actual election isn't until June 10th. We'll see what happens. The important thing for my home city is that the BEST BY 1000 MILES candidate won the Mayoral contest.

And this local run-off election for a City Council seat: that's what the Presidential Election is going to come down to for me: everything considered, who is the lesser of two really mediocre if not outright bad choices.

John McCain I've never been a fan of. In the Senate and even during the primaries, he's been all over the board on a host of issues and has never, compared to his contemporaries over the years, shown the leadership and steadfastness to be President. And I still remember the Keating Five.

Barack Obama, I initially gave the benefit of the doubt to. He was against Iraq, voted against it, period. No double talking. And after Hillary's (and many others who followed her lead) constant refrain of "I was for the war then, but now I'm against it because.........", Obama came off as at least genuine.

He was a huge unknown beyond that, but he kind of had that JFK appeal and if elected, he would either rise to occasion or not. But it looked like he had POTENTIAL. Until his dirty laundry started coming out. One day a Flag pin, the next no Flag pin.....then the Flag pin again. And what smoker/former smoker actually believes he quit cold turkey in one day and has NEVER had a cigarette again?

The whole thing with his Pastor's/Friend racist remarks: first he kind of defended the Pastor, not the remarks but in the end (and much too late) denounced the remarks and dumped his former lifetime friend, the Pastor.

And then the other inconsistencies I'm not going to bother repeating: after all, he's the nominee now. Why bother?

So we won the Iraqi war (like we didn't learn in the First Gulf War that the Iraqi military just turns and runs UNLESS it's a religion-based war (7 years of Iran-Iraq), and then completely blew the aftermath by firing the Iraqi bureaucracy and disbanding the Army.

And Iraq fell apart because we didn't LEARN that Islam and sect mean everything to the Iraqi's and the created State of Iraq meant nothing. That "American Democracy" was a foreign concept that we forced on them, they didn't understand, and weren't ready for.

IF we were going in to topple Saddam Hussain, (a big mistake) we could have least have learned from our own history: we needed a Douglas MacArthur to be dictator of Iraq for 7 years as we educated the Iraqi's on "American Democracy" And even that probably wouldn't have ultimately worked because in post-WWII Japan, we only had ONE deity to deal with: the Emperor.

In Iraq, we have two very distinct branches of one religion....and they HATE each other.

McCain first said we'll stay in Iraq for 100 years if necessary. Now he's back-tracking to a shorter time frame. And Obama, who said he would pull out the troops post-haste, is now being said to admit that we're going to be there for a while.

So what are either one of them actually going to do if elected President? No clue. But whatever they do; stay or leave quick, it will be the wrong decision. Because there IS no decision which allows the US to get out cleanly. Bush screwed the pooch on this one and now we're all screwed.

We have a half trillion dollar deficit but BOTH candidates are talking new programs, new spending........and America is broke going on bankrupt.

And lets not forget Hillary. She's not out of the picture by any means. She's the mainstream media's Vice Presidential pick for the "Dream Ticket".

But Obama doesn't seem to be too enthusiastic about that. But he does need her active support to beat McCain (isn't that pathetic?) So if not VP, then what? Not the cabinet. Not an ambassadorship....that's not enough for Hillary.

A promise in blood to be nominated to the first Supreme Court opening? That's something Hillary would LOVE: to have a life-time appointment as an Activist Supreme Court Justice. And it's more dangerous than ANY scenario other than her being President with a Democrat Congress. Maybe even more so.

We have our two choices: McCain and Obama. Between now and election day in November, both have some choices to make; like a running mate.

Between now and election day, they will finally be able to go at each other head to head without the Hillary distraction. I'll be listening to what both say, who both pick for VP, and see what more dirt comes out on both of them.

I'll watch the debates and see how and what they have to say. Then I will weigh all that, hold my nose, and vote for the man I hope will do the least amount of damage over the next 4 years. I have no illusion that EITHER of them will do America any good.

I don't like voting that way. I like voting for someone I support and believe in, not the lesser of two evils. But at the Presidential level, I've done it over the last four Presidential Elections. I guess I can force myself to do it one more time.

But I will vote for one of them. I will not take the cop-out approach of simply not voting. I was wrong with Bush, but who knows how the Democrat choices would have been? They could have even have been worse. Or not.

So you vote too. Forget political party: vote for who YOU think will be the lesser of two evils.

If America is going to continue it's decline into a bi-lingual, Second-rate, Superpower only by virtue of our rusting nuclear weapons, we have have the obligation to say we contributed to it.

After all, most of America has been too self-involved and too self-centered to really give a damn. And so the politicos ran amok with our blessing. Now the chickens have come home to roost...if they can get a mortgage.

John McCain and Barack Obama. Who would have thought America would sink so low?

Obama, McCain, even (dare I say it) Hillary: Does it really even Matter who the next President is?

Stay with me, reader! This is a long piece, and I'm going to jump around a bit, but it all comes together in the end.

The point is does it REALLY matter anymore which candidate does ultimately win the 2008 Presidential election?

I've been a political junkie since I was 13 years old. My Grandmother (God rest her soul) lived in Miami and our family went to visit her, coincidentally during the the 1972 Republican Convention.

While my parents and assorted other relatives were poolside, I was handing out Re-Elect President Nixon campaign buttons; a self-proclaimed middle-school conservative Republican. I hope those buttons become valuable some day because I have a box left.

That wasn't a popular stance in those days, and I didn't walk around in a little suit: I was a child of the times, but fiercely loved America, what it stood for, and what it represented.

As I got older, I stayed focused on National politics, joined the Air Force right out of high school because serving my country was the thing to do. I lived through the Carter years (fortunately overseas for half of it) but saw how he decimated the military budget.

I came home to a depressed America, double-digit inflation and a country still reeling from losing the Vietnam War. I will never forget or forgive President Carter's going on television blaming the American people for the morose attitude of the nation.

But then came Ronald Reagan and his "shining city on a hill". Suddenly it was OK to be an American again. Suddenly, people were proud to be Americans again. It was the age of Rocky and Rambo and America is number one! The 1980's were a good time psychologically for the American people and a welcome break from the turmoil, anger, failure and confusion of the 1960's and 70's.

I'm speaking high level of that time: there were scandals, there were mistakes, and the racial uprisings in the 1960's were just the boiling over of America never really overcoming it's prejudice's post civil-war. It was bound to happen, it should have happened, and I am ashamed for America that we were the last "civilized" country to outlaw slavery.

But we also put a man on the moon and while the nuclear-freeze crowd hid under their desks, Ronald Reagan called the Soviet Union for what it was and said it would not stand.

And in what history will judge as the greatest bluff of all time, Reagan bankrupted the Soviet Union out of existence with the then (and barely now) technologically impossible SDI program. In derisively naming it after the fictional "Star Wars", the press almost let the cat out of the bag.

Many took Reagan's open, optimistic and positive attitude for stupidity. But he was far from stupid; he was shrewd. He had too many advisers and experts not to know that SDI was impossible to achieve during the 20th century, but he poured billions into it and kept repeating that we would have an invincible shield against nuclear weapons.

The Soviets knew it was impossible too, but between Reagan's rhetoric, the vast money spent, and their own paranoia, just couldn't ignore it: they had to compete. They couldn't afford it and it bankrupted them into the scrap-pile of history. I'm glad I never played poker against Ronald Reagan. And because of his courage, we are the only remaining superpower today. Today.

But there is a big lesson for America to learn from the breakup of the Soviet Union. Like us, they considered themselves the "worlds policeman" but from the communist side. They had an enormous defense budget, a world-wide military presence, and poured billions into the proxy wars they fought against us in Asia and Africa.

They spent billions more propping up "friendly" governments, billions more to bring "communist enlightenment" to other countries, and billions more to ensure a comparable or superior military machine vs the United States. And one American President used that against them and quickly destroyed them.

Lets fast-forward to 2008. The United States spends more on military spending than the entire world combined and then some. We have to, because we are still stuck in the Cold War mindset of being the "world's policeman", spreading our form of "democractic enlightenment" to other countries, and still operating under the WWII vision of America's role in the world, not today's.

And it will bankrupt us. It already has. The only unknown is whether it will bankrupt us out of existence, as we did the Soviets. But the enemy now is not another country, but our own mainstream media.

The media has always had a slant: conservative or liberal, but they would apply that to the News as it happened. What they learned in the 1960's and actively, blatantly, and openly are applying today is that, instead of reporting the News with their slant, they are CREATING the News to suit their slant and agenda.

The 2008 President Primaries was their first true open flexing of that muscle.

It didn't help that both on the Republican and Democrat sides, we probably had the worst group of candidates in recent history. That made it a lot easier for the media to shape the election.

For the first time in American history, the ENTIRE major mainstream press IN CONCERT predecided who the candidates would be. They acted together in not giving any coverage to certain candidates, marginalizing and trivializing others, and giving too much coverage to other candidates.

When they finally eliminated most of them, they started swinging their reporting from positive to negative on the few remaining candidates to keep, especially on the Democrat side, the race close enough to they could draw it out and milk coverage and ratings that the truth wouldn't have justified.

But not to to give them complete credit, they were aided by two critical factors: the ego's of the States who were tired of New Hampshire always being talked about and so began moving up their primary dates so they could get some press too.

This resulted in the election race starting over a year before the 2008 general election. That's a lot of air-time to fill and a lot of opportunity for "creative reporting".

And as I stated earlier, the 2008 Presidential Primary candidates from both sides were an embarrassment to the Office of the President. This made the presses job even easier.

Let's not talk candidates to start with: lets talk ideas and facts.

Mike Huckabee, pushed by the press until his usefulness ran out, proposed eliminating the Federal income tax and replacing it with a 35% National Sales Tax. That concept was given a lot of credible positive attention by the press. I

t will bring in hundreds of billions in tax from "under the table" cash transactions and from illegal aliens who purchase primarily with cash. And no more Federal Income Tax! Notice he never said "no more IRS"; just no more Federal Income Tax.

Lets look at history first. Very similar arguments were made when the Constitution was amended creating the Federal Income Tax. And remember, it was sold and started because it was "only a 1% tax which would effect primarily the wealthy" One Percent.

And when the Federal Income Tax climbed to 90%, for top earners, the Government noticed there were so many loopholes that the rich could afford to slip through, they actually paid less than they do today.

So the "Tax Over-Haul" which promised lower rates but eliminated the loop-holes. But Big Government spent more, so the rates went up again; this time without the loop-holes.

You don't think the major reason George W. Bush was elected and re-elected President was because he promised and brought the rates down again...and continues to this day to keep fighting to make his reductions permanent?

And as his popularity drops to historic lows, the Big Government activists fighting even harder to eliminate the Bush tax reductions?

If not for the fact that Congress's approval rating was worse than the President's, this would already have happened. Instead they're trying to wait out the clock, stalling every attempt to make the tax rate cuts permanent until they expire.

A 35% National Sales Tax would affect the wealthiest Americans Discretionary spending, but would SAVAGE the middle class in paying taxes on Essentials. As history shows us, what starts at 35% will not remain 35% for long. And as history also shows us, "loop-holes" will be created for the wealthiest Americans so, along with their highly paid accountants, will pay much less.

Huckabee's National Sales Tax plan was given credibility and pushed because it enhanced the Big Government concept: the average citizen having to rely on the Federal Government to survive from cradle to grave.

And Big Government is popular with Big Media which is now owned by Big Business because they and their lobbyists literally control the Federal Government. They write the legislation, the campaign checks, create and support the PACs, receive the huge, often wasteful and unnecessary Big Government contracts, and provide lucrative jobs for "the right people" who leave Big Government but have influence and connections.

Now lets get back to history and look at a 21st century solution proposed by Ron Paul (and I don't blame you if you said either "who" or "that wacko!" Because that's how the mainstream press universally portrayed him.

His idea was to eliminate the Federal income tax for EVERYONE AND eliminate the Entire Budget Deficit COMPLETELY by simply STOP being the world's policeman. End the Cold War mentality and close the 160 US military bases abroad. Bring the troops home. Get back to what the Founding Fathers envisioned which was a military to Protect and Defend the United States. Period. It would save the United States $1 TRILLION a YEAR, and that's only the financial value.

Imagine if China had military bases on US soil. How would that affect public opinion about the Chinese? It would affect it negatively. And our military presence around the world, especially among the Arab nations, is the major cause of their hatred for the USA and their attacks against us. And who can blame them? We wouldn't tolerate foreign troop and bases on our soil either.

We have to accept that NOT every nation wants American-style "Democracy". Not every nation's culture will ACCEPT, or if forced upon them, be able to understand and function under American-style "Democracy".

In hindsight, the United States would have been more secure with Saddam Hussein, a Sunni Dictator, running Iraq then a "liberated" Iraq will ever be. His Iraq was a buffer between Syria and Iran. His Iraq was a threat to and major focus of Iran (hence our support of Hussein during the Iran-Iraq war).

Yes, he was a Dictator, a mass-murderer, and ran an iron-fisted regime completely contrary to American-style "Democracy". But look at Iraq today: are the people any happier? People who lived as neighbors for years (because they had to) are now killing each other and burning each other's Mosque's down.

The infrastructure is a mess, corruption is rampant, because corruption was a way of life in Iraq.
Soldiers and Insurgents change sides every day: a concept inconceivable to us but a way of life for them.

Iraq was a "created" country. Family, Clan and Tribal loyalties centuries old trump any mandated 20th century re-drawing of the map by the "Western Powers" after WWI and WWII.

Now in fairness to George W. Bush, in a post 9/11 world, when a Dictator like Hussein keeps asserting over and over that he is creating chemical, and more importantly, biological weapons and would continue to not only do so, but subtly hints that some of these could one day end up in the hands of terrorists, could Bush have afforded to risk that he wasn't telling the truth?

What Hussein WANTED was the same level of respect and treatment that we give North Korea. He tried to ACHIEVE it by doing a "Reagan Bluff", and during the Clinton years it might have worked. But not post 9/11.

Back to Ron Paul, his advocacy of ending "Pax America", and returning the Federal Government to the Founding Father's vision and The Constitution being strictly interpreted. That policy was COMPLETEY the opposite of what Big Business, and thus Big Media wanted.

And frankly, some of Ron Paul's other policies are not practical in the 21st century. But there are three branches of Government in America (although that line; especially between Congress and Activist Judges) is blurring.

Ron Paul could propose, but Congress would have to approve. But as Commander in Chief, he could have accomplished that ONE REALLY GOOD policy of bringing the American Military home and let it fulfill it's Constitutionally mandated mission.

Big Media, Big Business, and the infamous Military/Industrial complex crushed him in short order. Dr. Paul had the largest grass roots support base via the internet then any candidate in history. His Official Campaign Team failed miserably to capitalize on that: if they hadn't, he would have been untouchable.

But Paul and his Campaign Team didn't understand the depth, size or power of that movement any more than the mainstream press did. The mainstream press paid attention to Dr. Paul for one week, asking "where is all of this coming from?" And when he repeatedly answered "I don't know." The mainstream media then had full license to twist the truth, later giving credit to Barack Obama for having an amazing internet base.

Without direction from the Paul Campaign and with the constant, organized, and intentional negative portrayal of Paul by the press, his grass-roots movement became discouraged and fell apart while the average big-media informed Americans just wrote him off as a kook; as planned.

The one opportunity to REALLY change America and open a SERIOUS dialogue on our place in the world today wasted, and then crushed.

So what do we have forward to look to in November? John McCain, a third rate politician-as-usual Republican candidate, who is so in the middle of the road on most issues, he's in danger of getting run over.

Hillary Clinton: the poster child for not big, but HUGE government. And we really don't know how HUGE or what else she will try to accomplish since she has a largely secret 30 year old agenda for America, unless she is elected.

And finally, Barack Obama, flag lapel pin on one day, off the next, on the next day. We really don't know what he will propose as President except bigger Government since we don't know if his campaign platform is real or not, and we don't know if he's up to or can grow into the role of President of the United States.

And what does that mean for America? A continued slide into Second-World status. A bi-lingual, balkanized, "diversified" country where your personal heritage is more important than your American heritage.

A bigger and bigger divide between the poor and the rich, with the middle-class being all but eliminated.

And with oil prices skyrocketing, the dollar sliding to new lows constantly against the Euro and other currencies, China and Europe owning most of our debt and our dependence on them to keep buying our Bonds for us to survive.

Our accelerating transformation into a service-based economy, we are destined to be the county others will outsource their call centers and cheap labor needs to. And if we try to flex our muscles again, the before mentioned will stop buying our bonds and we'll go bankrupt almost immediately, considering a half trillion dollar deficit that keeps growing.

If they can clean up their history of corruption and get their act together, look to China as being the Superpower of the 22nd century and the focus for new technology and ideas shifting from America to Japan and South Korea.

But we'll still have over a thousand rusting but hopefully function nuclear weapons which should give us some security. And our Grand-children, if not our children, will be able to say "Would you like fries with that?" in Spanish and English.

Won't we all be proud to be Americans? Will there be a 2nd American Revolution? I doubt it. We don't teach history anymore, not unless it's been re-written to portray our ancestors as the bad guys, so by then, few will even factually remember the 1st American Revolution.

I wonder what derogatory names they will call the illegal American aliens slipping over the border into Canada?

So Obama, Clinton, or McCain: will it make any real difference? All the really important decisions will be made in Corporate Board Rooms and Editorial Staff Meetings.

EXCLUSIVE: Maher Maso Endorsed by Frisco Mayor Mike Simpson, wife Sandy, and Mayor Pro Tem Jim Joyner!

Frisco, TX: In an early morning election day email, outgoing Frisco Mayor Mike Simpson, wife Sandy, and Mayor Pro Tem Jim Joyner emailed a strong endorsement of Maher Maso for Mayor in today's election.

Maso's many, many endorsements include both newspapers of record.

This is a big blow to of Maso's opponent, Matt Lafata. Lafata has landed few endorsements and has spent the last two weeks fighting Frisco City Campaign Ethics Charges.

And now yesterday, State Campaign Ethics Charges were filed against Lafata as well.

While these endorsements are a huge coup for the Maso Campaign, Lafata, a Marketing Director along with his new 2nd wife Erika, former beauty pageant organizer and radio personality, have been packaging and repackaging Lafata professionally.

While Maso is clearly the candidate of integrity, ethics, knowledge and has a hugely impressive record of past performance on the City Council and as Mayor Pro Tem, Frisco has experienced explosive growth since the last election and both candidates are largely unknown to many of the 40,000 new residents.

Will Maher Maso's clearly superior abilities carry the day or will the slick packaging of the scandal-plagued Lafata win out? Substance over Style...that's what the Frisco Election of May 10th, 2008 is all about.
